Der Vorfall rund um den Minnesota Runningback Adrian Peterson rundete eine turbulente Woche in der NFL ab. Nachdem das Rice Video an die Öffentlichkeit getragen wurde gab es nun auch noch den Skandal des “schlagenden Vaters”.
Anders als im Ray Rice Fall der häuslichen Gewalt scheinen die Spieler die Bestrafung von Kindern durch Schläge eher zu billigen.
Die Reaktionen auf Twitter waren durchaus durchwachsen. Hier einige Auszüge:

Einzig der ehemalige Vikings Punter Kluwe, findet die Entscheidung gut, dass Peterson inaktiviert wurde.
I think the league can be better, and it must be better, if it wants to justify the money it makes. Tough to watch it fail though.

I will say this: I've had my issues with the Vikings. However, they deactivated AP this weekend. Greg Hardy and Ray McDonald are playing.
